From a sexy girl to a fake news portal in Spanish

Remember the banners that offered work from home to earn hundreds of dollars a day? or the official Google kit? Well, today I found something similar in a banner that is difficult not to click:

Destiny is a fraudulent news portal which tells the false story of a woman who makes thousands of dollars a month working from home, the interesting thing about the case (besides the girl with the banner) is that the portal is in spanish… until now I had seen the same deception but in English.

To make it more real they also capture the date of the system and through the visitor's IP personalize the news as if it were from their own country:

How do they make money?

They generally sell ebooks that teach how to earn money from home, although the way they promote them does not generate much confidence. In this case, the campaign is from a survey site that, due to its way of operating a couple of weeks ago, had commented on it as a possible deception:

The portal includes links to a survey site

If it is a hoax why not block it?

In the fine print they generally clarify things, it could be said that it is a legal deception. Users when paying or accessing the promotions are supposed to have read and accepted the terms, in this case you can read the footer of the portal:

It is important to note that this site and the stories shown above are to be used as an illustrative example of what some individuals have accomplished with this / these products. This website, and any page on the website, is loosely based on a true story, but has been modified in various ways, including: the story, the photos, and the comments.

I think there is nothing more to add …

Update: One of the worst advertising banners I have seen, another similar banner of the many variants that can be found on the net.
